Nice to meet you.

I am a photographer based in Amsterdam, with a background in anthropology. My interest for sub-cultures I carry with me wherever I go and it comes to life in my photography, where I focus on the intimate moments within the space of those sub-cultures I photograph. It’s how I experience the world around me, and it’s how I invite viewers to step into the image.

The everyday elements in my photos often tell a larger story, where a smaller aspect represents the whole and often tells more about the subject than the subject itself. By showing parts of the story and leaving other parts open. I like to involve the viewer, as to make them see the image the way I see it.

For me, photography is a way of showing how I experience my surroundings, and my way of connecting with the viewer and allowing them to see what I see in their own way.
